Les Mouettes is a simple family-run guesthouse set directly on Lorient beach on the north coast. The airport transfer is a short ride east through St-Jean and Lorient.

From SBH, the taxi ride to Les Mouettes runs about 8 minutes. The standard daytime fare is around 30 euros. Add 5 euros for evening arrivals after 6:30pm or on Sundays, and 10 euros for late-night arrivals after midnight. We always recommend pre-booking for arrivals into Les Mouettes during high season — drivers fill up fast in December and around the holidays.

On Sundays the road is quieter. Fewer drivers work, and the ones who do add 5 euros to every fare. We plan dinner timing accordingly when we do not have a rental car.
