Getting to Tropical Hotel from St. Barth airport

Tropical Hotel sits on the hillside above St-Jean Bay, just minutes from the airport. One of the shortest taxi transfers on the island, walking distance to the beach.

From SBH, the taxi ride to Tropical Hotel runs about 4 minutes. The standard daytime fare is around 30 euros. Add 5 euros for evening arrivals after 6:30pm or on Sundays, and 10 euros for late-night arrivals after midnight. We always recommend pre-booking for arrivals into Tropical Hotel during high season — drivers fill up fast in December and around the holidays.

On Sundays the road is quieter. Fewer drivers work, and the ones who do add 5 euros to every fare. We plan dinner timing accordingly when we do not have a rental car.
