The rules that apply when you use driverstbarth.com. Free, free of obligation, no account required.

1. What this site is

driverstbarth.com (the "Site") is a free, independent directory operated by BLUESHORE (SIREN 903 437 317), Route de Pointe Milou, 97133 Saint-Barthélemy, France. It lists licensed taxis, private drivers and car rental agencies in Saint-Barthélemy, and offers a free WhatsApp-based concierge service that helps visitors reach those operators.

2. What this site is NOT

BLUESHORE is not a taxi company, a private chauffeur service, or a car rental agency. We do not own vehicles, employ drivers, or set fares. The transport services listed on the Site are operated by independent third parties licensed under French law. Any agreement reached between a visitor and a listed operator is a direct contract between those two parties.

3. Use of the Site

By accessing or using driverstbarth.com, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please stop using the Site.

  • The Site is free. No registration, payment or subscription is required.
  • You agree to use the Site lawfully and not to attempt to scrape, mirror, harvest contact details in bulk, or otherwise misuse the directory.
  • The booking assistant must only be used for genuine transport requests. We reserve the right to refuse service in case of abuse, fraud, or off-topic requests (drugs, illegal activities, harassment, etc.).

4. Information accuracy

We strive to keep the directory accurate and up to date, including phone numbers, prices, surcharges and vehicle information. However:

  • Phone numbers may change without notice. Try multiple drivers if needed.
  • Taxi fares are based on the official 2024 fare schedule of the Collectivité de Saint-Barthélemy. Actual prices may vary based on the driver, vehicle and season.
  • Listed availability is informational. Drivers may be unavailable at any moment, especially during high season.

The Site is provided "as is", without warranty of any kind.

5. WhatsApp concierge

The free concierge service connects visitors with available drivers on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee a driver will be found within a specific timeframe. During high season (December–April, Christmas, New Year, Bucket regatta, Voiles de Saint-Barth), demand can exceed availability and we may not be able to fulfill every request.

The concierge is not a commercial intermediary. Once we connect you with a driver, the contract for the ride is between you and that driver. BLUESHORE does not collect payment from visitors and does not charge a commission.

6. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, BLUESHORE shall not be liable for:

  • Inaccuracies in directory listings (numbers, prices, availability)
  • The quality, conduct, pricing or behaviour of any third-party driver, company or rental agency
  • Any direct or indirect damages arising from the use of, or inability to use, the Site or the transport services it lists
  • Interruptions in service, technical failures, or temporary unavailability of the Site

If you have a complaint about a ride or a listed operator, please direct it to the operator first. We can help mediate if appropriate, but the legal recourse is between you and the operator.

7. Intellectual property

The content of the Site (text, layout, design, logos, source code) is the exclusive property of BLUESHORE unless otherwise indicated. Reproduction or reuse without written permission is prohibited. The names of third-party operators listed in the directory belong to their respective owners.

8. Personal data

The Site does not require an account and collects very little personal data. For details, see our Privacy Policy.

9. External links

The Site may link to third-party websites (operator websites, partner sites, tourism resources). These links are provided for convenience. BLUESHORE has no control over external sites and is not responsible for their content.

10. Modifications

These Terms may be updated at any time. The version that applies is the one in effect on the date you access the Site. Material changes will be reflected in the "Last updated" date at the bottom of this page.

11. Applicable law

These Terms and your use of driverstbarth.com are governed by French law. Any dispute that cannot be resolved amicably falls within the jurisdiction of the French courts.
